The Daily Bunny

I'm Bunny the K9 Kachingler.

I play a major role at Kachingle, although I'm not entirely sure what it is.

Most importantly, I send all of my Kachingle earnings to my favorite charity, the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.  You can do the same too when you set up your blog/site to be Kachingle-enabled.  Just set the PayPal Pay-Out email address to be that of the charity you wish to reward.

May every pup have a good home, and every kitty too!

Buffy at the native plant park near our house.  That flower is the Matilija poppy.  It's almost a big as Buffy and no doubt just as smart.

Teeth Cleaning

We had our teeth cleaned at the vet in April.  Here we are "relaxing" afterwards.

Our person now brushes our teeth every (OK almost every) night.  We don't like it but she gives us treats before and afterwards so we let her do it without biting the toothbrush into little pieces.

The toothpaste says "chicken flavor" but it absolutely does NOT taste like chicken.

Pumpkin on a walk today

Pumpkin had his globes removed in January because he got glaucoma and it was really painful.  He got glaucoma because he had cataracts, and he got cataracts because he had PRA (progressive retinal atrophy).  He developed PRA in around 2007 when we were living in Mount Vernon, Missouri.  My person took Pumpkin to the prestigious veterinarian school at the University of Missouri, Columbia when she and his vet realized he was nearly blind.  But nothing could be done.

Anyways, he's been blind for 5 years already so my person and Pumpkin's ophthalmologist decided the best thing was just to remove the globes since he didn't need them and they were painful.  He just looks like he's always got his eyes closed now.

This fire hydrant is in our yard!  How convenient is that!

In front of our fire hydrant
We love that fire hydrant! He can't see it but he can smell it!

Walking on the bridge over the creek right next to our house

Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy

My person took Pumpkin to the doggy opthamologist (Veterinary Vision in San Carlos) and they had this cute sign in the waiting room.

My blog earned $20.39 for the Humane Society SV in 2010!

How exciting! Thru Kachingle my blog earned real money for the Silicon Valley Humane Society in 2010!

Payments sent:
7/9/10:       $12.24
8/17/10:       $5.29
11/16/10:     $2.86

OK, not a lot a money, but I'm only a dog.

Imagine if I were a person and had Kachingle installed on my blog!

It's easy if you want to do this. If you have a blog or website just sign up for Kachingle, grab the Kachingle Medallion (widget), place it on your blog (only takes few minutes), and set the monthly monetary payout email address to donations@hssv.org.  Kachingler contributions to your blog will then flow completely automatically to the HSSV.

Many thanks to my Kachinglers.

Urlaub am WAUKIKI BEACH - Thermenlandklinik

I'm all packed and ready to go! But my person says she has to work and that I can't travel by myself. Maybe someone in Austria would like to escort me?

My ears

My person is always taking pictures of my ears, but I don't know why.
